The UPGC considers the proposed four- year first degree course at the Hong Kong University too expensive and has asked the Vice-Chancellor to reconsider it. Since it is unlikely that a local course will begin before the end of the 1981/84. triennium, efforts are being made to train more students in speech therapy overseas.
The Working Party's aims and objectives of sheltered workshops were discussed and accepted at the third meeting held on 13 April 1982.
