(a) Fast Opinion Survey

Scheme (FOSS)

To devise a scheme for fast collection and presentation of representative public opinion.

In

An evaluation paper on the FOSS experimental surveys has been prepared. the surveys, certain pro- blems have been encountered such as difficulty in re- cruiting inter-viewers. Attempts have been made to solve these problems and it is considered that the scheme is feasible.

To present the evaluation paper to HAIG for in- formation and to make FOSS available to Government as a management tool.
