I must thank Mr Alex Wu and his Working Party for reviewing the law relating to the employment of pharmacista under the Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance. Their recommendations that the existing enforcement capability should be strengthened, and that improved training facilities should be provided for supporting staff are being considered by the Government, and the training implications considered in conjunction with the Vocational Training Council.
