Well, on my prompting,

You will recall the shabbiness of my Office. the Ministers decided that my Office, which doubles up as the Executive Council Chamber, was not befitting either my or their dignity and is not a fit place at present to receive VIPs. A modest amount of money has, therefore, been provided for renovation and refurnishing.

2. I do not have a proper portrait of the Queen for the Office, only a tiny, badly framed one. I need a decent portrait with a proper gilt frame. Do the PSA provide these for embassies? The size should be 2 inches long, 18 inches wide, or thereabouts: anything
