legislature in Hong Kong means that special attention must be

paid to views of UK Parliament. Only recently majority in

Commons again reaffirmed their opposition to capital punishment.

Macao and Portugal's Accession to the EC

Question has not so far been raised by Portugal.

could not accept more favourable treatment for Macao than for

Hong Kong.
