1. As part of the briefing for the PM's visit we need to cover the following:-

a) Treaties and Agreements applicable to

Hong Kong.

b) Multilateral organisations or International

bodies on which Hong Kong has some form of representation (ie UN specialised agencies).

2. I should be grateful if you and copy addressees could let me ha a list of treaties, conventions etc and organisations applicable to Hong Kong. The list does not have to be exhaustive; the main object is to provide as many representative examples as possible.

I should be grateful for your contributions by close of play on Tuesday, 3 August.
