Further Statement takon at 11.35 hours on 21.3.80

by C.D. Frowse SF from A.M. Cimino

I am Alastair Malcolm Cimino officer in charge of the Ballistics and Firearms Identification Bureau, CID Headquarters. I have been requested to give a further statement to the one made on 19th March, 1980 covering my action after I left the scene of a shooting incident of 410B Homantin Service Flets.

2.

On 21st January 1930 at 11.13 hours I received four exhibits from D.E.P.C. 6924 in my office. The exhibits consisted of two bullet marked as having been removed from the body of the deceased, a green shirt and a Khalie pullover.

3.

I examined the exhibits which I took from the scene (a revolver, five fired cartridge cases, three fired bullets and one live round), together with those which I received from D.M.P.C. 6924 on 21.1.80.

4. In general terms I found the revolver in good working order, five chambers had been fired and the fired cartridge cases had been fired in the revolver. The bullet I received from the doctor and the bullet found on the floor had been fired from the exhibit revolver, as had one of the two bullete handed to me by D..P.C. 6924. The bullet I found in the drawer and one of the bullets handed to me by D.E.P.C. 6924 were too damaged for comparison.

5.

My examination of the pullover and the shirt showed both to have five bullet entry holes in the front, four in the mid-chest area and the fifth lower down on the left side. Each of these holes appeared to have been made with the muzzle of a weapon in contact with the garments. The back of the shirt had three exit holes, while the back of the pullover had two exit holes.

6.

I prepared a statement on my findings at 11.20 hours on 22nd January, 1980.

7.

The above further statement consisting of two pages has been read over by me and is true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
