A BILL

Make provision for certain privileges, immunities and

facilities to be accorded in respect of the Visa Office

in Hong Kong of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the

People's Republic of China; and for connected matters.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the People's

commencement. Republic of China (Visa Office) Ordinance 1981 and

shall come into operation on

Interpretation.

2. In this Ordinance, "Visa Office" means the

Visa Office in Hong Kong of the Ministry of Foreign

Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

Privileges etc. of Visa Office.

3. (1) For the purpose of facilitating the

functions of the Visa Office, the following provisions

of this Ordinance shall apply to the Visa Office,

officers and employees of the Visa Office, and members

of their families.

Entry to Visa Office.

4. No person exercising any power of entry under

any law shall enter that part of any premises which is

used exclusively for the purpose of the work of the
