HOUSE OF COMMONS

LONDON SWIA OAA

31st October 1980.

Dear Lord Belstead,

see

TR

You will recall that I wrote to Tim

and you were

Raison regarding kind enough to reply on 23rd September.

Since that time the Ockenden Venture

has managed to apply on behalf of

and obtain for her a visa to come to this

country.

What worries Mrs. Roberts and Mr. Jacks, both of whom are interested in this case, is that, although the United Kingdom is willing to admit her to this country, Hong Kong will not allow her to take up this offer.

I shall be most grateful if you could do your best to see that the other end of the problem is sorted out.

The Lord Belstead,

Yours sincerely,

Elaine Kellett - Bow...

Parliamentary Under-Secretary

of State,

The Home Office,

50 Queen Anne's Gate,

London, SW1H 9AT.
