An answer to the letter has, as you know, been delayed by your own visit to London and subsequent developments. Nevertheless, the letter requires a reply and there would be some advantage in one issuing before the Secretary of State meets UMELCO on 31 March. I should be grateful, therefore, if, unless you see any objection, you would arrange for the enclosed letter to be delivered to Sir S Y Chung.
