Amend clause 4(2) on page 5 of the Bill to read

(2) If, on an application for naturalisation as a British

citizen made by a person of full age and capacity who on the

date of the application is either married to a British citizen

or is a citizen of the British Dependent Territories, the

Secretary of State is satisfied that

residence in U. K, from 5 to 3 years.)
