Born in 1917 in Hong Kong.

Widowed with 3 children. An engineer

by profession and successful self-made manufacturer. Senior

Unofficials Member of the Executive Council since April 1980.

A cool, logical thinker, who was very much the moving spirit behind the establishment and success of the Hong Kong Polytechnic.

Has given long and valuable service to Hong Kong. Has little

time for recreation but enjoys swimming.

MR O V CHEUNG QC CBE

Born in 1922 in Hong Kong. Married with one son. A barrister.

Senior Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council since April 1980

and Member of the Executive Council. Interests are horse-racing

and eating.

MR DR FORD MVO OBE

Born in 1935 in the United Kingdom.

Married with 4 children.

Commissioned in

Hong Kong Government Commissioner in London.

Royal Artillery in 1955. Joined Hong Kong Government as Deputy

Director of Information Services in 1972. Under-Secretary in

Northern Ireland Office 1977-1979. Secretary for Information

in Hong Kong in 1979 and posted to London in 1980 as Commissioner.
