The Telecommunications Agency of Singapore (TAS) is currently considering a pilot scheme to implement an advanced mass
communication system in which viewdata and teletext technology is combined. Aregon has assembled a consortium to bid for the project TAS expect to reach a decision within the next few months.
LINE TO TAKE
The Secretary of State will wish to promote the adoption of UK teletext and viewdata technology if any opportunities occur in any contact with those responsible for Hong Kong industry, trade, telecommunications and broadcasting.
