Information recently acquired indicates that the communists have had some success in penetrating the Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Education (HKASME).
At least four members of the committee of twelve are known to have communist connections. The HKASME, registered in 1966 to improve teaching in the two subjects and to facilitate contacts between teachers, had not previously been identified as a communist target.
