Affirms that, for the efficient carrying out of its activities in the

countries in which it operates, ICEM and its staff should enjoy the privileges

and immunities usually accorded to international governmental organizations

and their staff;

Invites Member Governments and other governments concerned to take

appropriate measures, where necessary, to that end;

Requests the Director, exercising the powers conferred on him by

Resolution No. 86 (I), to continue his efforts to conclude agreements

on privileges and immunities with the governments concerned, wherever

this may be deemed appropriate, in the interests of efficient and

economical management of ICEM's operations.
