To implement proposals of district administra- tion White Paper.
To develop all facets of community activity in the New Territories.
(c) Fire Prevention Campaign
Community involvement activities in the form of games day, design competition, talks, etc. organized. A total of 19 Fire Watch terms formed this year.
(d) Road Safety Campaign
District community involvement activities in the form of drawing and design competitions, quiz, games day, talks, seminars, etc. organized.
Review of DB profile 1980-81 completed. Nominations of new members agreed and being screened by Police (Special Branch) and ICAC.
N.T. inter-district football and basketball leagues set up. Discussions held with Music Office regarding increased activity in N.T. District Arts Associations encouraged to take more interest in dance.
To continue the monitoring of district involvement activities.
To continue to monitor District programmes. Cycling track in Sha Tin to be opened in mid-1981.
New members for 1981-82 to be appointed before end of March.
Establishment of leagues in 4 other sport! Organisation of N.T. music fairs in 1981. Meetings to be held with leaders of District Arts Advancement Associations.
