staff at Queen Mary Hospital (QMH), to review the long term s taffing requirements, and to examine whether the
integrated system proposed for the Prince of Wales Hospital should be
adopted for use at QMH.

facilities at QMH.

Progress made and present position
The 4th draft report is now being revised in the light of the latest comments from UPGC on the University of Hong Kong's staffing requirement: .
On 3 December 1980, Finance Committee approved the revised scope of the project to provide inter alia 659 additional beds, expanded physiotherapy, occupational therapy, X-ray facilities and other supporting services. To expedite the planning of the project, consultants are being engaged to assist in detailed planning.

(a)Certain sections of the Pneumoconiosis
(Compensation), Ordinance 1980 came into operation on 7 November 1980. The other provisions of the Ordinance together with the Pneumoconiosis Compensation (Computation of Earnings) Regulations 1980 and the Pneumoconiosis (Assessment of Levy)
Regulations 1980 came into operation on 1 January 1981.
(b) The Pneumoconiosis Compensation Fund Board was established on 7 November 1980 and, to date, has held two meetings.
