committed to paper I believe it would be helpful for us to talk round a table. I am therefore asking David Kirk here to get in touch with you and Defence Department to arrange a meeting fairly soon (perhaps the morning of Friday 1 May would be

convenient?)

We could then also consider whether any further work is needed on the issues you discuss in your letter of 1 April to John Slater.
