Transitional powers of employers.

17H. (1) An employee may be required by

his employer to produce for inspection within

the time limited by subsection (3)

(a)

the employee's identity card; or

(b) where the employee is not the

holder of an identity card and is

not required to be registered

under the Registration of Persons

Ordinance

(i) a valid travel document;

(ii) a police warrant card;
