17M. (1) Any person who --

(a)

contravenes section 17K(1), (2),

(3) or (4); or

(b)

fails to produce for inspection

a record of employees when

lawfully required to do so,

commits an offence and is liable to a fine

of $10,000.

(2)

Any person who fails or refuses

to produce for inspection a document the production of which is required under

section 17L(1)(b) commits an offence and is liable in the case of a first conviction to a fine of $1,000 and in the case of a second or subsequent conviction to a fine of

$2,000.

(3) Any person who obstructs any public officer in the execution of his duty under this Part commits an offence and is

liable to a fine of 10,000 and to imprison-

ment for 6 months.
