(A) a bona fide resident who has lived in the Colony

for at least two years; and

(B) able to support them and provide accommodation.

(ii) Similar applications in respect of parents under 60

years of age or in respect of one parent where the other is still resident in China or Macau will not normally be approved in the absence of strong compassionate or humanitarian reasons.

(e) Relatives other than wives, husbands, children or parents :

Permission for other relatives to enter the Colony will not normally be approved in the absence of adequate proof of their having previously resided in the Colony, or other strong compassionate or humanitarian reasons.
