holders who qualify for British

Overseas Citizenship would remain

retain a legal right of entry to Hong

Kong. If present arrangements

continue, the minority who qualify for

Only Citizens of the British Dependencies who

derive that status by a close connexion with

Hong Kong (e.g. birth or naturalisation) would

be issued with Hong Kong passports. They would

have the right of entry to Hong Kong.
