one or more factories.

Every factory canteen is required

to be licensed under the Food Business (New Territories)

Regulations.

These regulations also prescribe the area

of the space in factory canteens to be allocated to the

kitchen and the preparation of food and cleansing of

utensils, and the licence fees.

Existing factory canteens serving only workers

of that factory, which are at present exempt from licensing,

will be given 6 months in which to apply for a licence.
