VIETNAMESE REFUGEES IN HONG KONG

1.

Thank you for your letter of 28 February.

Zit

2. A Home Office Minister of State announced on 24 March that it was HMG's hope that the 6,500 boat refugees still due to come to the UK would do so before the end of the year. There are at present no plans to take any more after that.

3. No doubt the Hong Kong Government will answer the other questions in the final paragraph of your letter.
