Explanatory Note
These regulations amend the principal
regulations to provide
(a) that where the term "employer" or "person"
appears in the principal regulations such
term includes a "proprietor" within the
meaning of the Factories and Industrial
Undertakings Ordinance (Cap. 59); and
(b) that a child who works in any place of
employment at any form of work whatsoever,
whether for wages or not, shall be deemed
to be employed therein for the purposes of
the principal regulations.
