Members will be asked to advise, under section 73 of the Employment Ordinance (Chapter 57), whether the Women and Young Persons (Industry) Regulations 1980 and the Employment of Children (Amendment) Regulations 1980 should be made, to come into operation on the day appointed for the commencement of the Employment (Amendment) Ordinance 1980 (which is expected to be around 1st July 1980).
