ROAD TRAFFIC (DRIVING LICENCES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1980

Made by the Governor in Council under section 5

Citation.

1.

These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic

(Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 1980.

Amendment of regulation 7. (Cap. 220

sub. leg.

2.

Regulation 7 of the principal regulations is

amended by inserting after paragraph (1) the following

"(1A) No temporary driving licence shall be

issued by the Commissioner under this regulation

authorizing any person to drive

10.

(a)

goods vehicles of a weight unladen

exceeding 45 cwt.;

(b)

public omnibuses and public cars; and

(c) private omnibuses.".

3.

Regulation 10 of the principal regulations is

amended

(a) in paragraph (a) of the proviso to paragraph (1),

by inserting after "he has applied" the following
