Sir Lawrence will be visiting the UK again during the week beginning 28 July, and has asked whether it would be possible to see the Secretary of State (their last meeting was on 30 April during Sir Lawrence's previous visit).
As
He would also like to see the Prime Minister if this can be arranged. he has a large, and probably decisive, part to play in the placing of two contracts to build power stations in Hong Kong and China, it would be extremely helpful if this meeting could take place.
A draft Private Secretary letter to No 10 is attached.
