1. The provisions concerning sanctions against Iran which apply in Hong Kong are to be found in Article 1(2) of the Iran (Trading Sanctions) Order 1980 and the Import and Export (General) Amendment Regulations 1980 (the latter being made by the Governor in Council in Hong Kong, the text being with folio 18A of HKK 020/4).

2. None of these provisions prevents Hong Kong dockyard from agreeing to repair an Iranian cargo vessel in its dry docks (Hong Kong telno 1630 of 12 December).
