(b) by inserting after paragraph (1) the following

"(1A) paragraph (1)(c) shall not apply

to the export of any vessel or aircraft which

is taken out of Hong Kong in the usual course

of operating such vessel or aircraft and

which is not being exported pursuant to a

contract involving the sale or charter of

the vessel or aircraft.".

Explanatory Note

These regulations amend the Import and Export

(General) Regulations by prohibiting all exports to Iran,

except under and in accordance with a licence.
