Chapter 2 Judiciary Administration
Article 51
The overall Judiciary Administration in Macau territory shall
continually be under the control of the law promulgated by the Authorities of
the Republic.
Article 52
1) The administration of the Macau Legal Department shall be vested in the
Attorney-General and the Director of Prosecution.
2) The Attorney General shall be responsible for the supervision of Director
of the Prosecution's office, Bureau of Registration, Contract Execution Office
and the Judiciary Police Department, and shall control the Government Legal
Consultation Office, of which the Director of Prosecution is a member.
Article 53
1) Representatives of the Legal Department shall receive the Governor's written
instructions in respect of defending the interest of Macau, except those of
legal technicalities.
2) Representatives of the Legal Department shall comply with the laws of the
Republic in general in as much as disciplinary validity and privileges and
obligations are concerned.
