PROTECTION OF TRADING INTERESTS ACT 1980

1. You wrote to Colin Wood on 10 September enclosing a modified version of this Act and requested that this be extended to Bermuda.

2.

The modified version has been examined by our Legal Advisers and we propose to extend the Act as modified by the Attorney-General, together with the additional points marked in on the draft attached. We further pro- pose that the references to 'the Minister' be replaced by references to 'the Governor'.

3.

We will not take any steps to have the Act extended until we have received your reply.
