ENTRY REQUIREMENTS :

(b) Corporate Member of the Royal Institute of

Chartered Surveyors EITHER in the New Syllabus : Building Surveying Division of the General Section or the Building Surveyors Division (under the syllabus introduced in 1973) OR in the Old Syllabus: Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying Section PLUS in each case one year's appropriate post-qualification experience; OR

(c) Associate Member of the Royal Institute of British

Architects, or a qualification accepted as

equivalent by the Royal Institute of British Architects; OR

(d) Architect on the Register of the Architects Registration Council of the United Kingdom.

Corporate Member of one of the following institutions or equivalent: (i) Institution of Civil Engineers; (ii) Institution of Municipal Engineers; (iii) New Zealand Institution of Engineers (Civil).

Associate Member of the Landscape Institute and at least one year's appropriate post-qualification experience, or equivalent.

A Department of Trade or Commonwealth Certificate of Competency as Master of a foreign-going ship, or equivalent; and experience as Chief Officer or above in a foreign-going merchant ship.

(a) Corporate Member of one of the following

Institutions: (i) Royal Town Planning Institute (U.K.); or (ii) Canadian Institute of Planners; or (iii) Royal Australian Town Planning Institute; or (iv) New Zealand Town Planning Institute; or (v) a recognised Town Planning Institute affiliated to one of those mentioned (i) (iv) above, and

(b) one year's post-qualification experience in the

planning field.

(a) A degree from a Hong Kong or British university,

or equivalent, and 10 years of acceptable experience in the administration of trading standards legislation, of which 5 years should have been in a senior managerial position; or

(b) a good general education with 15 years of

acceptable experience in the administration of trading standards legislation, of which 8 years should have been in a senior managerial position.

Have held senior 1.0.0. rank or above in one of the Armed Services and have had formal training in bomb disposal work.
