Some time before he left, Sir Peter Ramsbotham passed on to me your letter of 28 November, with which you had sent him Tom Russell's draft 'Self-Inspection Questionnaire'. I am sorry that the holiday season has delayed this response - and that, even now, I have only been able to put together a few rather hurried comments, in the form of additional questions. But Tom has done so thorough a job that, with the possible exception of the IS sphere, there seems little scope for adding much.
