THE HUMBLE PETITION OF MADAM CHEUNG SIU LING HOLDER OF EXIT PERMIT NO.1279656

RESPECTFULLY SHEVETH

Your Petitioner is the holder of Exit Permit No.1279656

whose visą will expire on the 6th day of April 1979.

Your Petitioner first legally entered Hong Kong from

Mainland China on 13th February 1979 for the purpose of joining

her natural son Mr. Fu Wing Yuen who is married with one con

aged about one year.

Your Petitioner maintains that she is not a visitor

in Hong Kong by reason of the fact that the word "visitor" on

her Exit Permit has been purposely deleted by the officer on

the date of her entry into Hong Kong and her application for

permanent stay should carry a retrospective effect preceding

the present policy of the Director of Immigration.

Further or in the alternative, Your Petitioner should

be permitted to stay in Hong Kong under the unforeseen

circumstances as set out in the ensuing paragraph hereof.
