ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

Since 30th November 1974, virtually all illegal

immigrants from China arrested by the security forces have

been repatriated to China. Exceptions are those who have

a right to land in Hong Kong, e.g., Hong Kong belongers,

or those who are allowed to stay on compassionate grounds.

Those illegal immigrants from China who evade the security

forces and have established contact with their families
