The Council considered memorandum XCC(79)58.

The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED:

(a)

that the Temporary Restriction of

Building Development (Mid-Levels)

Bill 1979 at Annex B to the memorandum

should be introduced into the Legislative

Council, subject to the review of

clause 3(3) by the Attorney General;

(b)

that the Building (Administration)

(Amendment) Regulations 1979 at

Annex C to the memorandum should be

made; and

(c) under the proviso to section 38(5)

of the Building Ordinance that the

Building (Administration) (Amendment)

Regulations 1979 be made without the
