Entry for Employment

It is stressed that applications to enter the Colony for

employment should be given liberal consideration, particularly

bearing in mind the importance of encouraging local investment and

stimulating employment.

(ii)

Applications will be considered and approved provided that:-

(a) there is nothing on record to the detriment of the

applicant;

(b) the employing firm is a reputable one;

(c) the activities of the applicant and his employer are

beneficial to the Colony as a whole;

(a) the applicant possesses some special skill or knowledge

not readily available in Hong Kong;

(e) normal immigration requirements are met.
