Twenty-four double-compartment

dry latrines and washing facilities have been provided by the Urban Services Department. These facilities are maintained in a clean condition by USD staff assisted by refugees.

Refuse disposal: 40-gallon metal drums are being used for the storage of refuse in the collection

point inside the centre. A daily collection service is provided by the Urban Services Department every morning.

General condition: This centre is equipped with proper underground drains, flushing toilets and surface channels, and conditions are satisfactory. The centre is generally clean and there is no accumulation of refuse or waste water. Construction work in the centre is still in progress. 20-gallon metai drums with covers are used for the storage of

refuse inside the centre. No infestation of pests has been observed..

provided and, generally, they are clean.

5) Refuse disposal: The collection of refuse is carrieā

out at the road side in front of the entrance to the centre and the collection point is kept in a clean state.
