that so few of the Vietnamese refugees in Hong Kong are orphans. I should say that a number of individual adults will most likely be amongst those offered permanent resettlement in the United Kingdom and they could well do with assistance from British families. If you wish to pursue the idea of offering a home to such an adult, then might I suggest that you approach one of the organisations involved in finding homes for them. The British Council for Aid to Refugees, or the Ockendon Venture, or Save the Children, I am sure, would be pleased to advise you and to make all the necessary arrangements.
