London W4 2AA 17th July, 1979.

Dear Prime Minister,

South East Asia Refugees

Thank you for the initiative you took in proposing an International Conference on the Refugee problem.

May I add my voice to those who ask that the British Government should follow up this initiative with a generous offer to take a fair number of the Refugees?

You will be interested to know that in this area of the Diocese of Westminster the Jesuit Fathers at Campion House Osterley, have accepted over 70 Refugees and the R.C. parish of Hounslow is offering two houses which it owns for the permanent settlement of a number of Refugee families.

With the promise of prayers for God's guidance on your Government, and with all personal good wishes,

The Rt. Hon. Mrs. M. Thatcher,

Prime Minister,

10, Downing Street,

London. SWI.

yours very sincerely,

CMahon, melin

Bishop in West London.
