1. I refer to your letter of 21 December, reference (2) L/M (9) in SEC 11/5/4 II, and should be most grateful for an early reply.

2. The British Council for Aid to kefugees have been led to believe that the Immigration Department have given approval for Mr Chong and his family to enter Hong Kong and are therefore anxious to settle this matter as soon as possible.
