Mr Jack Ashely (Stoke on Trent South): To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, if he will discuss the resettlement of refugees from Indo-China with the Secretary General of the United Nations.

I have no present plans to do so. The Government remain
in close touch on this matter with Mr Poul Hartling, the
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
