contracts is entirely a routine matter for the applicant.

Aircraft catering and bond arrangements: Agreements will be negotiated to provide for these matters as they are elsewhere in the world on the applicant's scheduled services.

Offices: The applicant will, where necessary, enter into agreements for the purchase or tenancy of such premises as it deems expedient for the support of the services applied for.

Hotel accommodation: Hotel accommodation arrangements will be finalised in the normal way to provide for aircrew requirements in this respect along the proposed routes.

Aircraft: The applicant already possesses six (6) McDonnell- Douglas DC-10-10 wide-bodied 345 seat aircraft which are presently in use across the North Atlantic. The usual steps will be taken

by the Flight Operations Department of the applicant to ensure that aircrew operating into the airports (includ- ing alternates) along the proposed route are fully familiar with each location.

A check will be made to ensure that each airport is suitable for the nature and type of operation and flight equipment envisaged by the application.

The Operations Department has the necessary expertise and experience to expand its capability to cover the route applied for without special problems arising. This includes the applicant's Crewing/Rostering Department. Recruiting extra aircrew to bring up to strength aircrew personnel in respect of the five aircraft to be delivered
