even more difficult to accept, however, is the decision that CPA must come to the hearing, not on equal terms, but under rules which very clearly favour those airlines based in the U.K., as compared with an airline based in an overseas territory and I do not think this fact could be seriously disputed.
I would, therefore, request that further urgent attention should be directed towards this issue, and would urge that appropriate action should be taken to remove this legislative hins before the various applications for a London/Hongkong Route licence are considered by the CAA.
