Configuration of aircraft, and services provided

The B747 aircraft would be configured in 24 first and 374 economy class seats. Additionally, the lounge would be fitted with 12 sleeperette chairs which would be available to first class passengers on a first come first served basis at no extra charge. There would be a lounge in the economy cabin for the full-fare economy passengers with an up-graded quality of services. The aircraft would be fitted with in-flight entertainment facilities and free alcoholic drinks would be provided to all passengers, if permitted.

The Hong Kong

London services mounted by British Airways for summer 1979 provide for 10 x B747 and 1 x VC-10 services per week. If CFA were also to serve the route then some arrangement on sharing of capacity between the two airlines would have to be worked out.
