I explained that due to the congestion at London's Heathrow Airport it is the policy of the United Kingdon that any operator starting services to London should use London's Gatwick Airport.

You explained to me your wish that CAAC should have the opportunity to choose whether to use Heathrow or Gatwick.

We both recognised that this problem could not be resolved immediately. ve therefore agreed that the two sides would consult each other about this matter as soon as possible in order to find a solution before any services are inaugurated on the trunk routes.
