Nonetheless, I said that, subject to any further comments from Hong Kong, I thought they could be brought to accept Option A if we felt it was the best deal available (and better than us deal at all), provided they could be assured that a Hong Kong based Bostid cis- line would have access to the Hory Kong-Peking route when BA came off it, and would operate whatever other regional routes were agreed so long as one of then was to Shanghai 3. All of this happened before we saw Peking telno. 540- from which it looks as if even Option A is not going to be a starter.
