If at any time before the expiry of this

licence a road, carried on a bridge, shall

be constructed so as to connect Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau, then

the Commissioner for Transport, if considered necessary, may

grant to the licensee relief from payment of a proportionate

part of the monthly rent payable under this licence.

Should the Commissioner for Transport decide at any

time during subsistence of the licence, whether at the request

of the licensee or of his own motion, to assign other ferry

points or piers, or localities or frontages, for the use of a

ferry in addition to or substitution for those herein before

specified, the licensee shall be bound to include such points

or piers in his service and to accept such localities or frontages,

on terms to be agreed upon or failing agreement to be determined

by arbitration under the provisions of the Ferries Regulations

made under the Ferries Ordinance (Cap. 104).

12. (1) The service provided shall be for the carriage of

passengers, their luggage and general cargo (other than

mechanically propelled vehicles) between the hours of 6 a.m. and

midnight daily, with departure from the ferry points in paragraph 8

in accordance with a Schedule of Service to be approved by the

Commissioner for Transport.

(2) The service provided by the said schedule shall

provide not less than the following departures daily from each

of the ferry points or piers - every 5 minutes in each

direction between the hours of 6 a.m. and midnight daily.

(3) The Commissioner for Transport may vary the terms of

the Schedule of Service as appropriate having regard to the

general public as well as the licensee.
