Honourable Members are asked to advise whether:
the Mass Transit Railway Corporation (Amendment) Bill 1979, at Annex A, should be introduced into the Legislative Council; and
the Mass Transit Railway Regulations 1979, at Annex B, should be approved in principle, to be re-submitted to Members to be made after the bill has passed into
law.
(The Assistant Law Draftsman (Mr A. J. DOWLING), the Mass Transit Adviser (Acting) (Mr K. R. JENKINS) and the Assistant Secretary for the Environment (Mr G. W. E. JONES) will attend before the Council for the discussion of this item).
